Report Genuine Emails as NOT Spam for Microsoft 365 Quarantine and Outlook

THE END USER SHOULD CAREFULLY ANALYZE THE EMAIL BEFORE RELEASING IT AND NOT FULLY TRUST IT UNTIL ITS CONTENT IS VERIFIED WITH THE SENDER USING AN ALTERNATE METHOD, SUCH AS PHONE CALLS OR TEXTS
Find Email (Web)
Click Subject
A Panel will Open - Click Release email
Report False Positive (Web)
Select Release to all recipients.
Check Submit the message to Microsoft to improve detection (false positive)
Check Allow emails with similar attributes (URL, sender, etc.)
Remove allow entry after: Select 30 Days
Click Release message
Click Done once Microsoft confirms actions were completed.
In Bulk Email Release (Web)
Select all desired emails (you may use the search bar or filters to adjust results)
Using the page menu, select Release email (Checkmark Icon)
Check Submit the message to Microsoft to improve detection (false positive)
Check Allow emails with similar attributes (URL, sender, etc.)
Remove allow entry after: Select 30 Days
Click Release message
Click Done once Microsoft confirms actions were completed.
Report Not Junk / Spam (Outlook App)
Open Outlook desktop application
Go to the Junk email folder
Select an email
Right-click (on the selected email)
Go to the junk section
Select one of the options on the junk panel
- Recommended: Not Junk (After clicking, select trust email sender and click ok ) (email will be moved to inbox)
Visit the inbox folder to confirm the email is there
